Andrew Lister :: Graphic Design Lecture Series

Andrew Lister is a designer based in the South of England where he leads a collaborative practice with designers, artists and writers. Working predominantly in print, Lister is interested in striking a balance between formal, conceptual and typographic rigor. His research is largely concerned with notions of reconstruction and material remnants: how things are pulled apart and pieced back together, and the material, textual and visual traces that such a process leaves behind.

Lister received a BA in Graphic Design from Northumbria University and an MFA in Graphic Design from the Yale School of Design. He has taught at the London College of Communication; the University of Leeds; and ELISAVA, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering. He is currently a lecturer at Winchester School of Art, University of Southhampton.
