UIC Design at ICFF

UIC is participating for the first time in the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) during NYCxDESIGN week May 14 to 17.

The School of Design’s exhibition theme relates the textual and the spatial. “How Do You Read Design?” features a collection of works that play on the dimensions of design. At an intimate scale, arranged in vignettes, bookforms and objects demonstrate the connections and distinctions of graphic design and industrial design.

UIC faculty Felicia Ferrone, Ted Burdett, and Sharon Oiga have solicited and curated the student work. Students selected to exhibit are participating in the design and construction of the exhibition and are in New York for the event held at Javits Center.
