Daniel Sauter creates installations and visualizations dealing with the cultural and social implications of emerging technologies. As an Associate Professor of Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons School of Design, Sauter teaches courses in blockchain, computational aesthetics, dynamic web, and data visualization.
 
Sauter's collaborative works have been shown at international venues including The Whitney Museum of American Art (New York), OK Center for Contemporary Art (Linz), ACM Siggraph (Boston, Los Angeles), China Millennium Art Museum (Beijing), Metropolitan Museum of Photography (Toronto), National Taiwan Museum of fine Arts (Taichung), Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art (Rotterdam), Art Center Nabi (Seoul), Luminale Biennial for Light and Culture (Frankfurt), Hangar Biocca Center for Contemporary Art (Milan), Armory Center for the Arts (Pasadena), Ospedale Degli Innocenti (Florence), and Th LA County Museum of Art LACMALAB.
