Pouya Ahmadi :: Graphic Design Lecture Series

Pouya Ahmadi is an Iranian typographer and graphic designer based in Chicago where he has worked with Morningstar and Studio/lab. Self-initiated projects or projects for clients of his independent practice include AIGA, Verge Books, Cacophonics Music, Chicago Design Museum, and Experimental Film Society. Ahmadi is a member of the editorial board and a contributing writer of Neshan, a leading international graphic design magazine. He has spoken at TypeCon and is currently featured in Typeforce 2016.

Ahmadi received a UIC MFA from the Basel School of Design; an MA in Visual Communication and Image Research from FHNW, Basel; and a BA in Visual Communication Design from the University of Tehran.
