Project Osmosis Design Youth Forum

Over Spring Break, the UIC School of Design hosted Project Osmosis and the Design Youth Forum. The Forum is a workshop and showcase to help introduce Chicago high school students to the varied field of design. Workshop topics included graphic, industrial, architecture, multimedia, and fashion design. Students designed around a variety of issues, including refugee housing, designing for disabilities, and working with sustainable materials.

Project Osmosis aims to create programs and initiatives that identify, develop, and support young people from minority communities with demonstrated abilities and skills in the applied arts. Major thank you to the Project Osmosis leaders, workshop instructors, and the UIC Design faculty, staff, and students who helped make this event possible!
