A self-described “Persian-bred, Swiss-educated and Chicago-based” designer, Pouya Ahmadi’s areas of research include Latin and non-Latin typography and type design, visual identity and publication design.
Pouya’s clients range from small businesses and non-profits to large corporations, and include Experimental Film Society, Verge Books, Green Lantern Press, Chicago Design Museum, among others. His work has been featured in such respected industry publications as It’s Nice That, AIGA Eye on Design, Etapes, Grafik, Type Directors Club, TypeRoom, Print Magazine, People of Print, Working Not Working and the Moscow International Design Biennial. Pouya is an editorial board member of Neshan magazine, and frequent TypeCon speaker.
