UIC Design Students Launch Projects on Kickstarter

Students enrolled in UIC Entrepreneurial Product Design (EPD) have launched their projects on Kickstarter.

The UIC EPD course is a year long immersion in Design Entrepreneurship — a type of entrepreneurship that places emphasis on ideas and making to create and launch products. The class is taught by Craighton Berman, a designer that has successfully launched four projects on the Kickstarter platform.

EPD is one of the 2015-16 Professional Track Options, open to 4th year students in the Bachelor of Design (BDes) program in the UIC School of Design. Year 4 Options courses offer real-world professional experience in self-initiated venture (EPD) and through industry partnership: Interdisciplinary Product Development (IPD), Bio-Engineering IPD, Mobile App Design (MAD), and Design Thinking and Leadership (DTL).

Help support UIC Design by funding your favorite 2016 UIC EPD project.
