Nick Savidge to represent UIC Design at the IDSA Midwest Conference

2016 BDes in Industrial Design candidate, Nick Savidge, was selected, following his presentation to a panel of invited design professionals, to be the UIC IDSA Student Merit Award representatitve at the upcoming Midewest Conference of the Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA). Runner-up in this year's competition is Gabriel Chorabik and the judges additionally provided an Honorable Mention to Rachel Marsico. 

All three students will attend the IDSA Midwest Conference, April 22-23, 2016. 

For the past two years, the UIC Design student representative has  gone on to receive the IDSA Midwest Region Award, which is presented at the IDSA National Conference. Our past awardees are Rotimi Solola, BDes ID 2015, now a designer at Motorola; and Jillian Tackaberry, BDes ID 2014, now a designer with MNML.
