Eric Hartman Participates in Gender Pay Gap Reveal
UIC Graphic Design alumi, Eric Hartman, recently participated in a bold experiment conducted by Glamour Magazine to reveal salary discrepancies between women and men. Once again, we are filled with pride by Eric's professional activities. It's not easy to reveal that you represent the unfair side of an unfair system.
Eric graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from UIC in 2012. As a student, Eric served as UIC Senior Student Organization Coordinator and worked as the group's designer. Upon graduation, he was hired as Design Advisor in the Office of Student Affairs for the UIC College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts. Eric served in this important role from 2012–2014, during the formative years of the UIC School of Design.
In 2015, Eric moved to Washington DC to begin work as a graphic designer for Atlantic Media. From January 2016, to that fateful day in November, Eric worked for Hillary for America where he applied his design and communiction skills in the effort to elect Hillary Clinton as the first female U.S. President.
Eric Hartman is now a designer for The Atlantic.
