UIC Graphic Design students win Graphis Silver Award

 

Undergraduate Graphic Design students Jeff Torres, T'Yanna Moore, Caroline Schwarm, and Alexandra Spiroff are winners of the Silver Award in the Graphis Typography4 Competition. Their project, produced in a Typography III course taught by Associate Professor Sharon Oiga, explores the physical dimensions of typography as a medium as well as content for exhibition and publishing.

Graphis is an international publisher of books on communication design. Based in New York City, Graphis presents and promotes the best submitted work in graphic design, advertising, photography and art/illustration. Its Typography4 Competition recognizes professional-level design work under the theme "type in use".
