Alexandros Skouras presents at antenna/Dutch Design Week

Master of Design graduate Alexandros Skouras has been selected to present his work at the second annual antenna in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

antenna is a program of Design Indaba and Dutch Design Week, which will bring together 20 young designers from around the world to present their projects in October 2018. The antenna program was developed to expose these designers to an expanded network of experts and professionals, and to help foster future opportunities. The organization describes its mission in this way: “Like the antennae of the natural world, antenna aims to intuitively spot and react to the subtle signs in the world around us.”

Alexandros Skouras is a designer from Tripoli, Greece, and a 2018 MDES graduate of UIC’s School of Design. He is interested in modes of graphic design production and display, the reactivation of archival material, performance, documentation, and political narratives. At antenna he will present Xeniteia, a project combining installation, publication, and sound/video to question the systems used to document immigration and the nature of the migration experience today.
