A design legend at the forefront of the modernist movement in American design, John Massey was Director of Design and Corporate Communications at the Container Corporation of America from 1964 to 1983, and taught at UIC from 1984 to 2000. John received the AIGA Medal in 1994 and was named an AIGA Fellow in 2001.
