Chrissi Cowhey is a graphic designer and educator whose work draws on roots in fine art and literature while reflecting high levels of concept and craft. Spanning identity, print, digital, and environmental, her portfolio includes work for clients that range from Fortune 500 corporations to cultural institutions. She has developed a particular focus on collaborating with artists and museums such as the Art Institute of Chicago, Pulitzer Arts Foundation, Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, and RISD Museum.

Before starting her own practice, Chrissi taught design at Washington University in St. Louis and has worked at Abrams Books, Studio Blue, Two Twelve, and VSA Partners. Her work has earned awards from the AIGA, Design Observer, Graphis, Society of Typographic Arts, and is included in the Chicago Design Archive.
