Stephen Flemister is an interdisciplinary artist and designer working in new media and studio practices. With years of interactive production in advertising and a practice involving sculpture and print media, Stephen explores the fabrication of objects and systems influenced by digital culture.
A graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a 2016–17 Artist in Residence with UChicago’s Arts + Public Life, Stephen continues a studio practice while working on various design productions. He has exhibited his works at Hyde Park Art Center, Carnegie Center for Art & History, South Side Community Art Center, and Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, as well as public installations, and design projects throughout Chicago.
