Black Lives Matter: In Solidarity

In support of our Black communities here in Chicago and across the country, and in solidarity with all who are fighting for justice against systemic racism, @uic.design is featuring a series of recent student and alumni projects that explore issues of racial identity and the Black experience. The series also includes images and works from As, Not For: Dethroning Our Absolutes, an exhibition curated by Jerome Harris and interpreted by the UIC Design MDes class of 2021.

I invite UIC Design friends and alumni who are seeking to support ongoing efforts to further diversify our student body and, ultimately, our profession, to join me in a donation to the UIC Osmosis Charles Harrison Scholarship, which immediately and directly supports design students of color.
