Campus Safety / UIC is committed to public safety and provides a smartphone app that allows you to take advantage of the many campus safety services offered. Download the UIC SAFE app—free on App Store or Google Play—and familiarize yourself with its features so you’re prepared in case of an emergency. 

Campus Advocacy Network / UIC is committed to providing education, training, and advocacy for students, staff, and faculty who need assistance or information on issues related to gender-based violence or feeling unsafe.

Student Assistance / UIC is committed to helping students address the complex crises, life traumas, and barriers that may adversely affect their academic success or collegiate experience. We can support issues such as personal or family emergencies, academics, interpersonal conflicts, personal safety, transition issues, and physical and mental health concerns.

Student Support / UIC is committed to offering tools and support for the best college experience possible, from helping with courses and connecting with classmates to peer mentoring and specialized workshops.

Counseling Center / UIC is committed to helping students deal with stress, handle a crisis or trauma, cope with the transition to college, gain strength from gender and cultural identity, or manage serious mental illness and many other issues. Our counselors can help students increase resilience and positive well-being by developing effective coping and problem-solving skills. Wellness Center / UIC is committed to supporting student learning, academic success, and retention by providing wellness services that promote healthy attitudes and behaviors, empower students to make informed choices, and enhance holistic well-being.

Pop-Up Pantry / UIC is committed to the nutritional health of our students. If you are experiencing food insecurity issues, visit our pantry any Wed/Thu from 1–4 pm, Montgomery Ward Gallery (behind elevators) in Student Center East at 750 S Halsted Street. One-time registration is required, stop by any Mon/Tue/Fri from 9–4 pm, Wellness Center in Student Center East, Room 238.

Disability Resource Center / UIC is committed to full inclusion and participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of university life. Students who face or anticipate disability-related barriers should use the link to connect with the Disability Resource Center (DRC). Instructors in receipt of a Letter of Accommodation will work with the student and the DRC to implement the approved accommodations.
